Payroll

The EVENT Software™ Payroll module allows for the entry of employee time as well as the setup of salaried and commissionable employees for the purposes of payment based on the pay period defined and the method of payment selected by employee. Employees can be paid by cheque, by deposit slip, or both. The deposit slips can be printed or emailed. All deposit slips are stored as a pdf copy so reprints are readily available. Unique employee profiles allow a payroll administrator to set up all necessary user-specific deductions such as pension, RRSPs, group benefits, garnishments and more. All earnings entered for an employee can be distributed and charged to any of other costing modules such as Job Costing, Equipment Costing, Work Orders, Property Management or directly to the General Ledger. A wealth of reports and inquiries ensure the payroll administrator can keep up with all employee requests and remittance requirements. All federal forms are supported and are generated within the EVENT Payroll. All ROE’s can be sent directly to Service Canada for updating. All T4’s, T4A’s and T5018 forms are created from within EVENT. As an EVENT client, you are entitled to tax table downloads as they become available. We keep these up to date so you need only download them when you’re ready. They’re date sensitive so nothing changes in the calculations until it’s time to change.
